When Newman’s Own first began, Paul Newman declared that 100% of the profits would go to good causes.
The mission continues today through Newman’s Own Foundation. In total, more than US$600 million has been donated to good causes since 1982.

Who would have thought that so much good could come from a simple idea? As Paul said, it has been “a heck of a ride.”

Paul Newman and the Newman’s Own Foundation have an incredible legacy of four decades of giving in Australia and New Zealand. The first grants were made in 1984, a year after the products appeared on Australian shelves. Since then, over US $27milion has been distributed to close to 1000 charities in Australia and New Zealand.

Beginning in 2025, the Foundation’s grant funding supports SeriousFun Children’s Network as they expand their partnership with camps and programs in Australia and New Zealand.
